LATEST DISCOUNTED Kindle books (some temporarily) forum thread:

TEMPORARILY-Free Books:  Alerts from the Amazon Kindle forums - via the tireless "Happy Reader" Joyce, who is constantly on the lookout on behalf of forum members.

NOTE: Any alerts below are quoted as they appear in Joyce's collecting of newly and mostly temporarily-free books just released and are *not* books I've seen and are *not* recommendations by this blog -- this is an unfiltered daily report of very popular forum alerts.  The eBooks will become no longer free within days, usually - sometimes, hours.  Thanks to Joyce for gathering and organizing all these for us.
' Happy Reader "Joyce" says:

A Touch of Night
Author: Sarah A. Hoyt
Genre: Historical Fiction

DESCRIPTION: In a world where magic reigns and being a shape shifter is the only crime that warrants immediate execution, this is how Pride and Prejudice would be written. The novel is set in the world of Sarah A. Hoyt's Magical British Empire. '

[This is from Joyce's free-books alerts Friday in the forums,
9/23/11 - late evening, just 1 book today.]

Kindle-edition blog subscribers, who get the last-25 Kindleworld articles daily on the Kindle, can also access these (slowly), by clicking on any forum-alert link above, with Wireless 'On'...
Press the Kindle's "Aa"-key to Zoom a page of text 200% if on Kindle 3
or to increase font size on Kindle 2.
The Aa key gives a Landscape-view option also.
Or, use your computer to click the links at http://kindleworld.blogspot.com

NOTE: TO AVOID SPAM being posted instantly, this blog uses the blogger.com "DELAY" feature.

Am often away much of the day, and postings won't show up right away. Posts done to use referrer-links may never show up.

Usually, am online enough to release comments within a day though, so the hard-to-read match-text tests for commenting won't be needed this way.

Feedback and questions are welcome. Thanks for participating.

Technical Problems?
If you're having problems leaving a Comment, Google's blogger-help asks that you clear the 'blogger.com' cookies on your browser's Tools or Options menu bar and that will fix the Comment-box problems (until they have a permanent fix).

IF that doesn't work either, then UNcheck the "keep me signed in" box -- Google-help says that should allow your comment to post (it's a workaround to a current bug).
Apologies for the problems.

TIP: There's a size limit. If longer than 3500 characters or so, in a text editor, make two posts out of it.
